Hundreds of Locals and tourists gathered to celebrate Baja Junkie’s reopening. The event was hosted on March 1st by no other than Dulce María, the outstanding mexican soap actress and singer, to the delight of her fans and all attendees.

Since her arrival at the airport, Dulce María acted as a down to earth young woman, instead of the snobby, superstar attitude you could expect from someone whose face is constantly on tv, billboards, magazines, you name it. The press conference / autograph revealed a rather human, warm and caring attitude towards her fans, even the most humble of them.

We had a great time at reopening time with Dulce at the mic, sending a very friendly, joyful and including vibe to everyone present. Fans stood in line for a picture, or even a handshake of one of Mexico’s youth idols. Her work spans from 1994’s historic series El Vuelo del Águila, through DKDA, Primer Amor… A Mil Por Hora, Clase 406, Rebelde and RBD the band, which is the work she is better known for. She is also credited with participation on seven feature films and three tv series including an appearance on Mujeres Asesinas.

The night was great and we think the latest remodelling of Baja Junkie suits them way better. Time to enjoy it during Spring Break!
